1. Unscrewing the controller
Before you start taking your controller apart, take a close look at the controller first and try to remember which parts go where because you will eventually have to put everything back again.
2. Preparing the Case
With the controller facing down, slowly and carefully separate the front half of the casing from the circuit board.
3. Placing The Rapid Fire Button
While other methods of modifying the controller do not involve installation of a new button, this particular guide does.
4. Soldering
Assuming that you know how to properly utilize a soldering iron, attach the red wire to the leftmost pin of a 4-pin horizontal series, while the blue wire solders to the rightmost pin of the same series.
5. Putting everything back
Carefully taking note of the wires, try to close the circuit board and the casing. This may be a little tricky because the new wires will get in the way of things.
